Final preparations

Our SoJo neighborhood group

J out of the water.  I was the one terrified of the swim, but I actually loved it!  I was talking to the other swimmers and lifeguard in the kayak just like I do at all my other races.

Peeling that wet suit off.

Aubs coming out of the water

And doing her own peeling off job

Giving my sign as I finished up the run

DONE....Nothing feels better than Done.

Aubs transitioning

And headed out to the run after a flat tire on the bike. BLAH

There's our girl!

She finished 3rd in her age group

Robert finishing up his FULL Olympic distance

All American @ USA Cheer Camp

Congrats to Aubrey for being only 1 of 2 JV cheerleaders chosen as an All-American at USA Cheer Camp.  I heard she rocked it and we are soooo proud of her

Ribbons from the week and a non-expense paid trip to London available to All American Cheerleaders

With her friend Katie.  She was able to see many of her cheer friends from different high school up at camp.

Meeting up with her favorite fan, Brenna.  We made it pit stop at Cafe Rio in Layton before heading to down to Moab for out TRI.  We ran into a family that Robert home taught in Tucson back in 1997.  They had a few of their kids with them and we had a great lunch visiting with them.  We scheduled to get our families together for the Brigham City Temple Open House.  As we were about to part, Shelley said something that struck me...She said she felt like Alma when he sees his friends the Sons of King Mosiah after so many years, and the joy he felt to see they were still 'one with the Lord'.  There is great joy in seeing those you love stay strong in the gospel.  Possibly the greatest joy there is.

7 Peaks

We met up with the Halls at 7 Peaks.  Brenna and Taylor always have a good time together, even in a stack of tubes.

Bryson enjoying the day.  Though we love South Jordan we miss being so close to the Y mountains and our friends.

Our crew getting some Sumo snowcones

Track Season

Kayla and Lindsay are doing Outdoor Track this season.  They both like distance, like the 1500m and 800m, but Kay also likes hurdles and Lindz the running long jump.

It's been good for them to get out and race against other kids their age and make new friends, and we love going and cheering them on.

Dance Recital

Brenna is in her first year od Creative Dance, which is a combination of ballet and jazz.  She has loved her teacher, Miss Brenda and the 3 other girls in her class.

Emi is in her 3rd year of Ballet.  She is a ballerina at heart.

Lindz has been in the top level of Tap at her studio for the past few years. Tap dancing comes so naturally to her.

Our Dance Beauties.  I hope to post videos of their dances soon.
