Welcoming HOME Kekoa

Aubrey, Elan & Kekoa arrived home on Sunday afternoon just before Kai's nap.  This video and pics were his first interections with his new brother.  I believe all the months of talking to Kai about Koa and letting his practice taking care of babies have paid off .  It was tender and precious to see this family all together for the first time!

Precious beyond words.

The rest of us joined them Sunday night and held him and held him and held him.

Kayla made him his very first BIRTHday cake
Such a special and sacred time to have a baby fresh from heaven join your family!

Time with Kai

With Aubrey and Elan in the hospital for Kekoa's birth, we got to spend a few days with Kai doing some of his favorite things:
Bubbles.....though we never did hot tub

Eating @ Gigi's

Watching the trash truck pick up the trash from his house (he looks forward to this all week)

Visited the animals at the farm

Played in the Ericson's magical ball pit

Tried to learn how to blow bubbles with gum

More eating

Lots of car rides around town with Emi to keep him company in the back

Outside fun

Getting to see Kayla play lacrosse

More bubbles

Watching trash trucks pick up trash from 400 other people's houses
(the only thing he watches on TV or a computer)

Praying before he goes to sleep at night.  (Aubs & Elan got this shot from his baby monitor)
We will always be grateful for the time we have been able to spend with him when he was little.
This time together is truly priceless.

Sophomore Class Officers G&B

Election Results

Kayla drove up to decorate her room amd surprise her with a visit.
I know I could say this every single day, but Sisters are the BEST!

Since there are 2 middle school that feed into Bingham, 2 10th grade officers are elected from South Jordan Middle School and 2 from Elk Ridge Middle School. Brenna and her very good friend Grady were the 2 elected from SoJo.  We could not be happier to have this dynamic duo working together again, They have been friends/kindred spirits since kindergarten and we're pretty sure they were friends in heaven.

Here's what Grady's Mom posted about the election results:
We have another Bingham High class officer in our home!!! Grady and Brenna were the two candidates from South Jordan Middle elected to fill 2 of the 4 positions as Bingham Sophomore Class Officers for 2021-2022!!! These two have been the best of friends since kindergarten and we were hoping so badly they would win this together!!!!

Brenna was permanently traumatized from breaking her elbow during a playdate at our home when they were just 6 yrs old (her parents were at a funeral, to make matters even worse 😲) but she has never hesitated coming back over. 😬☺️
If elbow surgery with a couple of pins, and hospital visits during chemotherapy doesn’t bond a friendship like theirs, I don’t know what could!!!
Congratulations
to this dynamic sophomore duo, this is only the beginning of so many great experiences and opportunities to come!!! ❤️❤️❤️
We love you Grady, Brenna, and
Jenna Miller

We will all Live Again

Happy Easter!  Today we got to not only celebrate the Resurecction of our Savior Jesus Christ, we also got to learn of Him through participating in General Conference.

https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/?lang=eng

We love General Conference. We love hearing from our leaders, apostles, and prophet as if reaffirms and strengthens our faith in Jesus Christ.  So nice to have Kayla with us as well for this special weekend.

Between conference seesions we went to the Larkin cemetery.  We have been visiting cemeterys' for many years on Easter as it is such a sacred place to reflect and rejoice on the Savior's Resurrection.  We know that Christ suffered for the sins and sorrows of all mankind in the Garden of Gethsemane and that He rose again on the 3rd day, providing the way for ALL mankind to likewise be resurrected and live again.  What a joyous gift of love He so fully offfers us.  This knowledge brings much HOPE and Peace to our lives.  We know that Jesus Christ lives, that He is our Savior and Redeemer and we feel His presence and matchless love in our lives daily.
