Last appt for Aubs

Today was Aubs last appointment before Ikaika is born. The doctor said she is ready and to plan on coming in tomorrow morning to be induced.

Jett's 7th Birthday

With Aubrey's due date quickly approaching, they brought Jett back to live with us and to CELEBRATE his BIRTHDAY!

You may remember that this summer Lindsay is working for the Salt Lake County Mosquito Abaitment program. She rides about 20 miles a day on her bike, dropping treatment packets into storm drains to help prevent an infestation of mosquitos in our valley. As she was riding on her bike through a parking lot area, she was hit by a car backing out of a space.

She is bruised pretty good, but she says she is fine. She told the driver the same thing and got no information, I guess this is one of the risks of the job, but she still says she LOVES her job and wouldn't want to be doing anything else for work this summer.

I lost the waterproof camera in one of the rapids, so I lost all our pictures from the day, but it was fun and we look forward to it every summer.

Webber's Working

We got Grandma & Grandpa putting in some free labor at the shop today. Dad's 'touch' is too gentle to cut through the material (good for dentistry - bad for manaul labor) so he opted to lid tubes.

Mom was into the weeding

and even brought more home to work on after we left the shop. They would be good Sunny Decal employees.

Post Hike Ice Down

Just like Dad likes to record the score of every tennis match he plays, he like to keep track of all his 5K times as well as hike times. It took us longer to get up to the top than he expected (he always forgets how steep it is) So, we decided to run down the trail from top to bottom. Finsihed in 13 minutes flat!

Hence his knees were sore and he needed to ice down after we got home.

It's been a few years since Dad had hiked the Y, so we thought we'd head up there this morning

He totally made it up to the very top, though he had forgotten how long that 1 mile UP really is

After our hike, we headed down to campus and stopped by the BYU Hall of Fame. We mentioned to the worker there that we are from Tom Holmoe's hometown, and he said Tom is up in his office and we should go say Hello. We went up there and he was so welcoming and invited us into his office, showed us around, talked all sorts of sports from BYU to CV Falcons, to Cougarettes, to Cheer to Larosse. He said my girls could call him Uncle Tom and come see him anytime and let him know if they need help with anything. We didn't want us to leave without some swag from his stashes, so we walked away with some new gear and admiration for the man to leads Cougar Nation.
