Waffle Love Truck. It's a truck that drives around the Salt Lake Valley serving up the most delicious, yummy, probably incredibly fattening waffles EVER. You have to log onto their Facebook page to find their location for that afternoon or evening. Robert and I aren't that 'hip' but once Aubrey and her friends found that the 'Waffle Love Truck' was only 5 or 6 miles from our house, we decided to crash the party and head there with our friends too. (We actually did not run into Aubrey and her friends, so there was no real party crashing) Okay, these waffles are NOT cheap, and they are not for the faint hearted either. Robert described it as multiple Krispy creme donuts smothered together with Biscoff (ground up Delta airlines cinnamon cookies made into a creamy paste) and homemade whipped cream. It was delicious! Now the 'cool' thing to do is to then post a pic of you in front of the 'Waffle Love Truck' so that you;re friends all find out that it's close and head over there too. Remember though - Robert and I are not that 'hip'. Just parents of a few teenagers.

Snowshoeing
This is why I LOVE snowshoeing. Beautiful snow combined with my favorite 'Blue sky and white clouds'. For winter time, it doesn't get any better than this
This is the joy and blessings that come from living in Utah
Pristine, white, fluffy, powdery snow
We headed up the canyon with Mike & Amy and their friends the Ford's.
And our dog Odie
I don;t know who had more fun today, actually, it was probably Odie. This was pure heaven to him.

January Running
It's January - still cold & snowy so after getting tired of running 30 laps around the little indoor track, Kayla and I decided to hit the road. It felt soooooo good. We are definitely 'road runners'. The fact that she has to run cradling a ball in the her Lacrosse stick gives me just enough advantage to keep up with her, at least for now.

Long Live Lindsay
I was over at elementary school recently and saw that they had a new display up on one of the lobby walls.....and look.....there's Lindsay in the lower right corner. The Hope of America Presidential Award is given to top 6th graders at the conclusion of the year. This display will be up for the remainder of the school year. Great job Lindz, you are a true Hope of America!

Let the Painting Begin
Lindsay and Kayla decided to change their room around.
First order of business, get rid of the bunk beds
Then add some mint color to the room
Kayla's favorite color
They were nice enough to let everyone help with the painting
Then add some sunshine by the window
The bright yellow matched Robert's shirt perfectly

Bed Building
Lindz and Kayla came up with great ideas fro how they wanted to transform their room.
One of those ideas involved beds suspended from the wall
Voila! Dad was able to figure out how to make their dreams come true! He's awesome!
Temple Square
We took the Bloomers to Temple Square one afternoon.
One of our favorite places in Utah
And one of our favorite families! Love you guys!
