Nutcracker Ogden

Ballet West Ogden Opening Night.  With Emily in Cast D - she is able perform 3 shows in Ogden in November with the professional Ballet West Cast and 7 shows at the Capitol Theater in Salt Lake City.  The Ogden production was done with the old set, props, and costumes - so Emily was an Oriental Servant in those shows.  This year Ballet West invested over $3,000,000.00 (million) dollars in new sets, props, and costumes - so Emily will actually be a Monkey in that production.

Due to the fact that The Nutcracker is copyrighted there is absolutely NO photography allowed at anytime in any location.  Props and costumes are kept under lock and key and dancers put them on just minutes before going on stage.  Photos can only be taken by one licensed photographer who has purchased rights from the show.
We're so glad Papa and Grandma could make the trip up for Thanksgiving and to see one of Emily's shows. I know they love to see her dance and it meant a lot to her that they wanted to come support her, A big Thanks so our backyard neighbors who came to watch her dance as well.

BYU Luau 2017 Video

K's Luau Fan Club

Sister's, Cousins, & Friends all came to support her at the Luau

These 2 wanted to show off their Moana-like locks

Kayla & Johanna - Professional Hair Flippers

BYU Luau starring Kayla

Due to her brain injury, Kayla was not able to take many(any) academic classes, but needed to be enrolled in at least 9 credits to live in the dorm, which was important to all of us.  She signed up for 3 dance classes - one of which was Polynesian Dance.  This class was already FULL by the time Kay tried to register for it, but Elan had been a Teacher's Assistant for this teacher, so he was able to get her  a spot. It ended up being her Favorite class and dancing in the BYU Luau was definitely one of the 'highlights' of her first semester of college.

Bingham Ball Prep

Aubrey hasn't lived at home for over 3 years, yet she has come home to help her sisters get ready for each of their formal school dances.  She  does their hair and make-up, steams their dresses if needed,  and just hang with them while they get ready.  It is a tradition that we LOVE and appreciate very much!  And we so appareictae Elan supporting her in doing this as well.

So Beautiful!

Ready to go take on the Town!
