Kayla's Last PROM

It's hard to believe this is already Kayla's Senior Prom.   She has had such a crazy busy and amazingly fulfilling senior year with Student Government, but Senior Prom really starts the 'beginning' of the End of the Year Festivities, so it is a bitter/sweet time for her.
You may remember that Tyler was the 'Eager Beaver Prom Invite that came just after Valentine's Day to ensure he was the 1st to ask her to Prom.

Tyler is the Student Body President, and has done so much for Bingham High School this year.  He is caring, compassionate, hard working, and a great leader and friend.  We love having him here and are glad these two got to share their last Prom together.

As with all SBO activities, there is much to do, and the time is short, so we got a few quick pics as they headed off for a fun evening......

and lots and lots of hard core dancing in the American Flag Teva's.

Lindsay's 1st PROM

Lindsay Lou ready for her 1st Prom

A big thanks to Megan for doing her hair

Brenna was so excited to watch Lindsay get ready for her big date

Lindsay's date was Ben LeBaron.  Ben took her out on her 1st date back in March, and this was the 1st Prom for both of them

the awkward boutonniere attachment.  I don;t know how many dances our girls have been to now, but we still haven't mastered this boutonniere thing.

Nathan's BYU Graduation

Nathan became an official BYU Graduate/Alumni today.   Yay!!!  Nathan is my sister Barb's son and he came up to BYU about 6 years ago, after graduating from Mountain View High School in Mesa, AZ.   He is the oldest of all the grandkids on my side of the family and has paved the way for so many of his cousins.  Today was a great day to celebrate him and his accomplishments.

Barb and her entire family after Nathan's graduation at the Marriott Center
Nathan graduated in Exercise Science and plans to attend Medical School next year.  We have enjoyed having him up here in Provo the past few years - from his freshman year living in the dorms, wisdom teeth removal pre mission, sending packages to Mexico during his mission, numberless dinners with he and his roommates and friends, game playing. trampoline jumping, eating, and many wanted and unwanted conversations about girls and dating - we are so grateful we got to be a small part of his college experience.   He is such a great young man. who works hard, plays hard, and has set a great example for all of his cousins and family members.  So proud of you Nathan!!!

Yo Jo

Tonight Joelle came to watch the girls lacrosse game.  She has been playing lacrosse up at Utah State this year and we have missed her.  As you can tell by the big smile on her face, B was very excited to see her.  We'd love to claim her as ours, but she's got some pretty awesome family of her own.  It has been our pleasure to get to know them better this past year.  Love you Curtis Family!

Foundation Supervisor

Though we hired Boyd to be our General Contractor for the addition & remodel, Brenna is the official Supervisor on the job.  Today the foundation crew was pouring the basement workout room.

It was cold and windy outside, but she wrapped herself in a blanket and stuck it out through the entire pour.  I sure appreciate our neighbor's patience as we bring in all these concrete mixer trucks and park them on the street for unknown periods of  time.  Each truck comes with its own set of noises - from beeps and blares to horns to no sleeping in on this street for a few days. Sorry!

Our first glimpse at our future workout room .

Birthday Time

It's 42 today for this cute guy!  He spent most of the day at the church fulfilling his responsibilities, but once he was done there, we got to celebrate at home.

More matching cufflinks from his parents.

Cake and ice cream with friends

So glad I get to share my life and eternity him.  He is the BEST!  Here's to another great year ahead!

Tooth Fairy Overload

Brenna is on a tooth losing streak.  I beleive she's lost 5 teeth in the past 3 weeks.

So I kinda lost, all my teeth. So far I have lost 7 and have 1 or 2 other ones. I was really excited about it though, because before no I haden't lost a tooth since like, second grade. I lost all my cavity teeth and I am as good as new, My smile has changed a little bit but I'll get used to it. The bad part about all of this is that all my new teet are going over my old teeth so I will prbably have to get braces sonner now :(

LAX vs. Juan Diego

Another fun night of watching Kay & Lindz play Lacrosse

LAX vs. Park City

Park City is always the toughest game of the season, and this year was no different.  Kay held her own against a super talented, college bound center in her face-offs.  Though Park City took the win, both girls played well and it is always fun to play in their stadium in Park City.  So beautiful up there!

Teenage Driver #3 Lindsay

Lindsay got her driver's license today.  Happy Day!  She had to wait until the end of the quarter to finish her driver's ed. class, but it was worth the wait!  She is so excited to drive!

I can honestly say that when we had these 3 little girls in less than 4 years, I never envisioned them one day being 19, 17 & 16 years old.  What a blessing it is to raise them and to have Lindsay join the 'driving ranks' in our family.  Love you LB!
