Our soon to be newlyweds spent Valentine's Day doing Noblehouse deliveries at Sancuary in Lehi.

One more week until their special day and we are all so excited for it!

Grandparent Day at Riverside

Can't believe I'm attending Grandparent Day!

For yeears, the girls asked neighbors and friends to go to these special days with them and now it's me going as the Grandparent!

We got to have lunch together in the cafeteia and then attend the Book Fair in the library.

Ikaika found some good books her wanted, including the well known "Dinosaur Bites".

Got to see his classroom, where he sits, and some of his work that was on display in the hallway. 

I am soooo very proud of this boy!  

He is kind and smart and excels at everything he does - including spending half his school day immersed in Mandarin.

Loved spending the afternoo with him in his element and getting to meet his friends.

He is such a JOY to be with!

Showering Love on Em & Zach

Our South Jordan friends wanted to 'shower' Emioy & Zach with a little more love before their big day next month.  Big THANK YOU to Denae for putting it all together. We had the most delicous soup, bread and homemade cookies.

So thankful for the love the Carlson family has shown our family throughout the years. They are such a blessing in our lives.

And so good to be with our South Jordan friends. Though we moved to Herriman, my heart is still here with the people we spent the last 25 years with. They will be our forever friends!

Dislocated finger = cutoff wedding ring

Robert tweaked his ring finger at morning basketball today. He said it was at about a 45 degree angle from the second knuckle and he had to ask someone to yank it back into place. After showering and working for a few hours, his finger continued to swell and he worried his now tight wedding ring was cutting off circulation. So Robert headed to a local Herriman fire house and had his ring cut off. I guess it is on to silicon rings for him now.

Friends become Friends

It's always so fun when you're friends become from with other friends.  

We've known the Schmitts for about 30 years and Sweats about 25 years.  We were able to introduce them at last years BYU Missionary Devotional, and now they get to serve together in their callings.  Here they were both attended a YSA Conference in Phoenix. We have been blessed with such great friends throughout our lives!
