Emily was called to serve with the Young Women while living in Jerusalem. She would spent her 1 free evening a week traveling into the city to attend YW activities and to be with the girls and other leaders. She had great learning and growth experiences from being able to serve with this group at this time. Tonight the received a surprise visit from the newly called General Young Women President, Emily Belle Freeman. Emily will serve as the next YW President for the entire world wide church, and she chose to spent this night with the 6 young women and their leaders that are currently living in Jerusalem. Such a special time and sacred memory for all of them.
The following day they were greeted by Elder & Sister Uchtdorf, one of the Lords 12 Apostles.
Here she is living in Jerusalem learning all about Christ and His 12 Apostles, and then she gets to meet and spend time with 1 of the Lords 12 current day Apostles. These are such tender mercies and forever memories!
