Brenna loved be the pilot and flying thus little boy around.

 The Rock Climbing Wall usually has a short line, so we always climb the wall.    They really love to play Laser Tag, but that usually has the longest line, so that doesn't happen as often.

Memorial Ride

It's Memorial Day Weekend and that means the opening of our favorite treat store, Stefano's Gelato.  We loaded up on our bikes and headed out on our journey.  We look like a choo-choo train of bikes when we ride altogether, but we love having everyone there.  It's about 3.5 miles out to Stefano's and upon our arrival, the girls were very disappointed that it was closed for Memorial Day. We were left to ride home gelato-less.  .  

But 7-11 to the rescue.  We pass one on our way home and made a pit stop for slurpees.  A bike ride and slurpees completed our long weekend.

1st tooth

Brenna didn't even realize she had a wiggly tooth until she went to the dentist a few weeks ago.  Since then, she has become very focused on it.  Kayla is the official 'tooth puller' in our house, and last night B asked Kayla to pull her tooth out.

She is so proud of that little tooth.  Instead of putting it under her pillow, she placed in a baggie for safe keeping, so she could show all of her friends at dance and school tomorrow.  I'm excited to get used to her new cute smile.

Wedding Anniversary

17 years ago today, Robert and I were married for time and all eternity in the Los Angeles Temple.  Each year on our anniversary we return to the temple (this year the Salt Lake Temple) to perform sealing ordinances for other couples who passed away before they were able to be sealed to one another and their children.  (http://mormon.org/family/#marriages-made-in-heaven)  The temple was so crowded today with live weddings that we were only able to do one sealing on behalf of others, but one was good.  It reminds us of the covenants/promises we made to God and each other and the blessings that come as we live faithful and keep those covenants.  I love this guy.  I've love him more than I ever thought possible and we love the lives we are creating together.

Mini Ragnar - Night Light

Ragnar is putting on several Mini-Ragnars prior to this year's Wasatch Back Relay. This one focused on the 'night run'.  It was a 3-person 'out and back' relay originating at Wasatch Running Store, starting at 8:30.

Forty teams participated in this event, with Kayla being the only 'minor', as usual.

3rd place overall.  We all had a pretty good night.  Excited to join the rest of our teammates in a few weeks for Ragnar-Wasatch Back

Western Night

It was Daddy/Daughter Western Night at the school.  Robert adopted a few extra daughters for this special night.  They danced, had root beer floats, and took pictures.  I still remember  the Daddy/Daughter activities I went to when I was a kid, I hope the girls will remember these fun times as well.

 

Emily's 9th B-day

When Emi was a baby, we thought she should be in 'silent movies'.  She can convey just about any message with her expressions.  We'll let her tell her 'birthday story' this year.
