Kayla's 14th Birthday

I don't know anyone who gets more excited about her birthday and Christmas than Kayla.  Being that she is the last birthday of the year in our family, she feels like it never comes...but when it does...it comes BIG!
Mint shoes
Clothes organizer to hang in her closet so she can plan and place the entire weeks outfits in the organizer on Sunday night.  She likes to be prepared.
Mint nail polish
Mint wallet with black & white chevron...mint and chevron together...She seriously LOVES!

Chuck Taylor's......These where a must have on her birthday dream list
The Minnie Phone holder that I did not buy her at Disney World, somehow made it's way to our house a few months later.  She was more than excited.
Cake, ice cream, presents, birthday fun.  It was quite a day for this 14 year old
May all your wished come true...

I wish to take all my closest friends to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs on Opening Day

And dreams sometimes DO come true.  Happy 14th Birthday Kayla!!!

Homecoming

Aubrey's 1st School Dance.  She looks beautiful!
She was very lucky to have her cousin Katie up from BYU to attend the Relief Society Broadcast,  and to be a part of her special night.

Will and Aubrey approaching their dinner Luau, ala James Residence

Flipping, yes, Aubrey's group was made up of 3 Bingham Boy Cheerleaders

The Crew on their feet

The famous 'pinning on of the boutineer'

She made it without pocking him directly.

Sea World

Lindz had never been to Sea World before, so this was a fun day for her

Meeting the performers after the show

The Shamu Show is the best!

And due to the rain, we also rode the Shamu roller coaster ride all by ourselves.
We'll take the rain over crowds any day.

Our Hotel Room

We had a Room with a View - A serious view.  We would eat breakfast out here, read and talk out here, watch fireworks from all 3 parks from our balcony each night at 9pm.  It was awesome!

The lucky recipient of this fine room and his fine guests.

When the girls saw the room they all said there was enough room for all 7 of us, so we should have brought the whole family.

The girls got a kick out of this pic from the master bathroom.  Lindsay wasn't sure what to think of it, so she just used her own bathroom by the dining room.

It was fun to come home from the parks soaking wet each day and be able to dry off, warm up, and relax in our room.

Secret Gatherings

With Robert being the new President of Investools, he was pretty wanted anywhere and everywhere during this 3-day Conference.  Lindsay and I would sometimes join him at rehearsals late and night or early in the morning, but other than that, or paths didn't cross much.  Except, at our secret 10pm dessert runs that we did every night up at the VIP lounge.  No one every found him there, and for those few minutes, he was all ours.

Our 2nd secret hideout was in the Arcade located in the basement of the hotel.  Due to the fact that it could only be accessed through the main lobby, it was still hard for Robert to get down there, but it was  fun when he could join us to play air hockey or Galaga and take his suit coat off to relax for a few minutes.

Universal Studios

After the Harry Potter Ride- only a 10 minute wait for her favorite ride at Universal - Island of Adventure.  So awesome!  I love traveling at off peak times!

She loves being in Harry Potter Land.

I, myself, thoroughly enjoyed Suessical Land.  I could only ride the Harry Potter ride once, but these Dr. Suess rides were a cinch.

This was sent out to all her sisters back home - Wish You Were Here!

1st visit to Hard Rock Cafe.  We could have wandered around there for hours, so much to see inside there.

And look, we even found our friend Jenna just inside the doors of the Lobby.

This was  her very favorite ride at Universal.  She rode this one over and over again...by herself I might add.  She even text some friends to get more ideas on what songs to have played into her seat speakers each time she rode it.  For those of you not familiar with this ride...this is serious roller coaster action. Serious.
