Halloween

Brenna was the winner for having the most Halloween costumes this year.

She and Makayla were squirrels.....

Boys started out their day by trick-or-treating at their favorite gas station by their house.

Spent some time at the Butterfly Biosphere

Then trick-or-treating in their neighborhood.  

The people in the 55+ community prefer the kids come before 6pm and they all bring their chairs and candy out to the street, which is so nice.

Koa may have been more interested in the dog than the candy

Then Jordan Clarkson joined us.

He brought his good buddy Adam Sandler with him

She got the face tats, braids, white headband. She got it all.

Finished the night off with a little more trick-or-treating with the boys.

 

Jazz Win

We joined Kayla tonight at one of her favorite night spots - the Delta Center.

This girl loves to watch the Jazz play and comes to games every chance she gets

She mostly comes to watch her man Jordan Clarkson

He had a great game tonight 

and the Jazz came away with the WIN!

 

BYU Application Submitted

It took awhile to write 7 essays and try to put the last 4 years of her life into  but her BYU application is now Submitted. 👍

 

Doheney Beach

Meeting up with friends at Doheney Beach

The Wooleys were staying at a beach house with surf boards and wet suits, and they were so nice to share with everyone who wanted to surf.

Brenna was the first person in the water. Not great waves today, but it was nice to be in a wetsuit versus a swim suit up in Santa Cruz a few days ago.

Nothing quite live driving down the coast with the windows down and music blaring.

We're way too wimpy to hit the ocean in October without wetsuits, but the sand was great!!!

 

Parrots @ Disneyland

2 of Brenna's favorite loves - parrots & Disneyland came together today as we were walking to the park

Pure Excitement 

She got to hold them

and feed them

and let then kiss.  She was in heaven, and had we not been standing outside the gates of Disneyland, she would have wanted to stay all day with her new friends,

I promise that she enjoyed the parrots much more than Robert or I did.

 

Disney Fun

This little Information Stand COMPLETELY changed our Disneyland experience. A friend told us that Disneyland offers accommodations to those with disabilities, so we brought Brenna's official Arthritis diagnosis paperwork with us.  They didn't need the paperwork, but asked what might be difficult for her that day - standing for hours is hard for her to do. 

They then added a special feature to her Disney App that allows her and her group to request a ride, and then be called when our wait time was up, and we could either enter through the exit for through a special shorter line. We were still having to wait the same time as everyone to get on the rides, we just weren't waiting in line.

or visiting different parts of the park

or coloring with small children at different activity station

or eating.  

Welcome to the Tiki Room - we were so glad to share this favorite ride of our with Chloe, who had never been in it before.

They loved Buzz

and the castle

and getting to share a few days at Disneyland together. We sure loved having Chloe with us for all our adventures and for her cell phone expertise and use!!!
