Mission Call Opening - Taylorsville Temple

Such a special night for these two Besties!

Makayla was able to receive her own Endowment tonight with Brenna and her family by her side.

Following that special session, we met Brenna, Makayla, & her family outside the Taylorsville Temple to open her mission call.

So glad they got to share this special night together

Mosquito Abatement at BYU

It's recruitment time.

 Dan and Som from South Valley Mosquito Abatement are out looking for the best and brightest to take on the mosquitos in the southern portion of the Salt Lake Valley, so where do they go on their search....BYU.

And look who they found.

Mosquito Abatement is not just a job, it's like a family (maybe because all your sisters work there too?) They all work hard and are passionate about what they do and very committed/competitive in seeking out and exterminating as many mosquitos as possible to keep the public safe from West Nile. 

So grateful for all that our girls have learned and character they have developed from working at Abatement with Dan & Som. And THANK YOU for employing 3 of them again this summer!

 

Prospective Missionary Devotional

The Prospective Missionary Devotional is aimed at high-school ages young people and other prospective missionaries to prepare them for full-time missionary service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. These events often feature talks from current or former missionaries and Church leaders, musical numbers, prayers, and discussions on topics like spiritual preparation, the importance of gathering Israel, missionary purpose, and how to live a missionary life. The goal is to provide spiritual direction, encouragement, and practical insights to help individuals understand their role and be spiritually and physically ready for their service.

It is usually held at Brigham Young University or Utah Valley University and anyone is welcome to attend. The recorded broadcast is then shared with Seminaries and Institutes throughout the world

What an amazing opportunity Brenna had to share how the Book of Mormon has shaped her life and testimony.

After the Devotional, we got to visit with our Besties - Tony & Jon.

These are Robert's 2 closest friends. This is a trio of amazing men & true disciples of Jesus Christ,

Fun to get to visit with President Reese and his wife Wendy. We so appreciate the time he took to talk with Brenna about lacrosse and her experience at BYU and to talk with Emily about Texas A&M and giving her some insights into her Masters of Public Administration program.

Loved spending these evening with so many that we love!
