Celebrating our Outstanding Educators & Rising Star Scholarship winners with a special Awards Banquet at the beautiful Loveland Aquarium

The famous U2 class that brought Emily & Zach together.

We will forever love this special place.

Our banquet was in a new building that was recently added to the complex. It was beautiful in every way and from every angle

Lights, Chandeleirs, huge screens, everything was top notch

and a live shark tank behind our stage.

This was the most amazing banquet I've ever been too.  Good food, good service, good staff.

It was a wonderful evening to celebrate those who do so much for the students in our district.

 

Kekoa is 5

Today we celebrated Kekoa's 5th Birthday!

We went and saw The Mario Galaxy Movie

He loved it and loved talking to Jeremy about what was happening on the screen throughout the movie

Then we went to one of his favorite places - the Ball Pit house (aka. Shantelle's house)

The Ericson's are so generous to let us come play in their basement, pickleball court, and pool. Koa also shares a birthday with one of their daughters.

Spring in Rose Canyon

We love living in Rose Canyon all year long, but Springtime is definitely a special time of year.

Easter 2026

I LOVE these reminds about why Christ came and why his Atonement & Resurrection are so important to each and every one of us!

We chose a new cemetary to visit this year, not knowing if we would know anyone at the cemetery closest to Fiesta Ridge. This is one of the first headstones we came across

What a tender mercy and tender moment for us to reflect on the injustices of life and how our Savior can bring peace and hope for beautiful reunions in heaven with No Empty Chairs.

We were small in numbers this years, but we still had enough hands and helpers to act out 'David & Melissa' 

Definitely one of my favorite parts of Easter. 

I do know that Jesus Christ Lives and that through Him, we too will all live together as families again.

It's only March and Aubrey has already hit 50 camps at Burn Boot Camp-Saratoga Springs.

Celebrating Teachers 2026

This week Foundation Board Members are out surprising and celebrating Oustanding Educators in the Jordan School District.

This years Outstanding Awards Banquet will be held at the Loveland Aquarium - hence we were traveling with 2 sharks this year.

Look closely, can you name that shark? 

There are certain school that have a special place in my heart.

Majestic Elementary with Princial Marianne Johansen.

Bingham High School, now led by Principal Shawn McCloud 

South Jordan Middle School with Principal Jensen.

Yes, I took this picture of a banner hanging in the hallway TODAY  (2026) at SoJo Middle.

The 3 boys in the picture (Spencer, Kade, Garrett) are all home from 2 year missions (atleast 20 years old)

The 4 girls are all currently serving 18 month missions (at least 19 years old)

Lexi is in Mexico, Grace is in Salem OR, Taylor is in Tucson AZ & Brenna is in Washington DC
