State Semi-Finals vs. Lone Peak

Tough Game. Emotional Game. We beat Lone Peak 15-13 less than 2 weeks ago, but we would not pull off the win tonight.  Tough to see this season end, but man.....who would have imagined we'd be playing for the 3rd place in State (not division C) with a 1st year Coach?  

You know who imagined that.....Courtney did.  Back in February when we were planning out the season and figuring out dates for things, she wrote in pen that we would be playing for the State Championship on May 25th.  She believed in this team from Day 1.  She believed they were capable of way more than they thought they were.  This was such a special season and we owe so much to Courtney, her coaching staff, as well as our team captains.  You ROCKED IT!

Reshaping one of Lindsay's high school mouth guards for Kay to use during the 1st game of Nationals of her senior year in college. This mouth guard has been in the bottom of Lindsay's lacrosse bag for over 6 years and it will work to get Kay through the 1st game. Definitely a tender mercy.

Getting to wash the teams home uniforms in our airbnb.  Thought about each girl as I carefully folded her individual jersey. These girls are amazing and we love them all.  So grateful our girls have been able to play with such great teammates and make life long friends.

Bingham vs. Lone Peak

Robert & I were in Virginia Beach with the BYU team for this game, so a BIG Thank You to Kaden or Caleb or Jeff for these pics.  This was the girls biggest game of the season, and the kicked the crud out of Lone Peak.  I know that sounds harsh, but man, this game was definitely the upset of the week, and maybe the whole season.  Lone Peak only only lost once and (*spoiler alert - they went on to win the 6A State Championship just 2 weeks after this upset) 

Our girls played their hearts out and cane away with the WIN!

B had a great game and loved being out there playing.

This will be a game they always remember!

Robert & I were at Nationals during this game, but we sure appreciated the pics. 

 

National Team - UTAH

The UTAH team for the 2023 National Tournament this year was released and Brenna MADE IT!

These are the best Juniors/Sophomores from each state who travel to the NCAA National Tournament to play in a National High School All Star tournament for college scouts who will be there.  

There is so much goodness wrapped in this honor. More to come!

Bingham Senior Night

I was in charge of Senior Recognition Night, so I've got pics of my plans, but no pics of the actual event.  I had the best committee helping with this and out awesome.  Balloons arches, flower bouquets inside small lacrosse sticks, framed photos, blankets, lots of love from parents, coaches, & teammates.

It was awesome and I was so happy to do it, I'm just not sure that I'm ready for our family's final Senior Night next year.  For now, I'll just 'Enjoy the Journey'
