The Love Shared

My favorite part of the morning is the love that is shared, especially between sisters.  They have such a special bond with each other, and though they bicker and get frustrated with each other often, I know they would do anything for their sisters.  Their favorite gifts usually come from their sisters because they know each other best and always want to  give them something special.

For Christmas this year, Em asked for a sleeping mask with flying pigs on it.  Here she got a sleeping mask with peace signs (her 2nd favorite thing behind pigs) and a solar flying pig, which is sitting on the mantle above her left shoulder.  She is imitating it for us

Brenna Boo

Brenna had 2 requests for Christmas - Stompies and a Giraffe Dream Lite.
Here she is with her Stompies, she has a very nice grandma who bought them for her.

Lots of loves and smiles from this special girl.  She had a hard time after we open all the presents.  I didn't think it was because she didn't get something she wanted, but we went upstairs to talk.  Her tender heart was hurting because she was thinking about the people who don't have homes or families, and kids that didn't have a Christmas.  She said she wanted to give away her very best present to someone that needed one.

We decided to get another pair of Stompies that she can then donate to a child at a shelter.  She also wants to start collecting books and jammies for kids in need.  All this from a 6 year old on Christmas Day.  She has a tender heart and as a family we are going to work on helping her be able to help and bless the lives of others.
