STATE Week Minerettes

I can't believe STATE week is here!!!! Everything we do in Minerettes is in preparation for STATE! This is the time for these dancers to shine and show their dance dominance in the state of Utah!

We kicked off the week with a State Dinner for the team, coaches, and senior parents.  It's a fun night to  gather, build excitement, spotlight our senior, and get motivated for State.  While the team is away,at Sate Dinner,  parents decorate all the girls bedroom doors with photos, motivational quotes,  and fun memories from the year to keep them focused and ready for the upcoming competition.

Thanks Aubs for decorating Em's door!

For State week they choose Em as their Monday Minerette as she hasbeen such an amazing president and leader for the team and will now lead them to a 2nd State Championship!

Tuesday night we decorate all of the dane room mirrors based on the song/theme of their state routines

Final Pasta Party in our basement

The president has a pasta party at their house the night before every competition.  It was the last pasta party when it really hit me that this year is quickly coming to an end.

This is the quote Emily shared with her team on the day of STATE

Watching Em get ready for her last Minerette comp. What I loved about this was that she got to listen to messages and songs her friends had put together for her on this special day.

Ready to roll

Jett went to the bus send off and surprised her with a new hot pink bow tie to match her team warm-ups and headphones  Good little send off surprise!

Ready to head down to UVU for STATE!!!

Let's go MINERETTES!!!!

Ski time for Kay

Kay hasn't skiied since before her mission and has been itching to go.  Our friend Amy lent her skiis and Elan met her up at Brighton for some night skiing.  Skiing is even better than she rememebers it.

Senior Shoutout to Em

Someone wrote a shoutout to Emily and it was posted on Miner2021 (SENIORS only) page.

I couldn't agree more.
